I'm not sure how many sports bars in the Philly area have the NHL package so I couldn't say where to go. South Jersey on the other hand none carry the NHL package so unless it's on a national broadcast and you can beg a manager enough you aren't seeing it.

That's my neck of the woods! I don't know that you'll have any luck finding the Isle's game anywhere but the FOP Lounge is about a stone's throw from the skate zone and it's a good spot. Also Maggie's and Three Monkeys are within about a 10 minute drive.

The only reason I'd be upset about someone hitting a Flyer like Gudas did last night is because of the score and time of the game. And even then, I'd just be like "You didn't have to do that", but then again, you play hard until the end. Nothing about the hit was illegal. I do find it funny concerning Gudas this "you play the full 60" narrative. The entire team including Gudas all but rolled over the entire third period and let the Sabres (frank) 'em. If you're going to make a statement about playing hard the entire game, maybe do it earlier than with 3 minutes left....
