Morin isn't ready to play in the NHL from everything I've read. No sense exposing him too soon. - PLindbergh31
i don't think a few games is going to hurt him in any way. |

Hell, just bring him up for tomorrow's game. Hey Tanner, meet Sam. |

Sanheim is going to have to adjust his timing and willingness to jump into the rush. Right now he is being depended upon to produce primary offense for his junior team from the backend. They NEED him scoring goals because they aren't the deepest team. - Mordecai
I know. I fully expect both to be in the AHL to start next season. I expect Morin to log 120-150 AHL games before a callup. I think Sanehim has the advantage of possessing NHL skill already though. Morin needs AHL time to work on both the cerebral aspects and his skill set. |

Considering he was pronounced dead at 3:40pm, Hextall felt it was safe to say that he'd miss a few weeks. |

they got great value out of that deal with vancouver, who probably regrets the trade. - hammarby31
They had Luongo and Schneider and traded both then signed Ryan Miller. Lololololol @nucker101 |

i'm aware of the history, and i think yours is a bit skewed.
the flyers have made the cup final twice, in 97 (while ushering the rangers into a 7 year playoff drought, not mention sweeping them the season after their cup in 94) and 2010. what have the rangers done since 94? got to the finals in 2013, and lost. not a single conference final series. the flyers did that in 00, 04, and 08, while getting back to the cup again in 10 and knocking the rangers out in the final game of the season which i think you recall quite well. along with making the playoffs most of those seasons in between.
i don't think it's even close, the amount of success the flyers have had since 94, compared to the rangers. |

Let's see it.
Morin cup of tea.
"Sam, I know we said you gotta work on positioning and being sound in the D zone. You've been exceeding expectations. You really have. We're proud of your growth as a player and young man. As a reward, we want you to have a taste of what it's like to play with the big boys for a week or 2 in lieu of an injured MDZ. You will be sent sent back down to the AHL, as a full time job in the NHL is not quite in the picture just yet. Keep doing what you've been doing though, and you'll be here in no time. That is, of course....unless you blow us away.
Your first game in the NHL will be against the Rangers. I'm sure you've been, just like us, frolicking through the water park of Ranger tears. On a related note, please take every oppurtunity to impose your will on that irrelevant (frank) face Tanner Glass. You're a big boy and we like that. Sick em. That'll get us off to a fine start. Good luck out there " |
