Time for Roy to go? - kingcong39
nope, he isn't gong anywhere. Roy is an average coach and he stays until he decided to step down.
Big issue is the depth again. Tanguay, Iginla, Martinsen, Mitchell, Wagner are all 4th liners, too many guys having to go into 3rd line Details.
Makes it an easy 2 line team to play against, and Roy starts spreading his talent through the 4 lines. Its better when he loads up the Top 6 when they third line is actually playing respectable hockey

He'll also (in theory) face easier competition if/when we add those talents. - Sabresfan-365
Listen, I love how he's playing, but his last 3 goals have been an empty netter that hit a ref, wrist shot from the point that got a goalie pulled, and a Markov turnover where he was alone in front for a tap in.

Just saying he's got a little lucky lately - sbroads24
Yep which is fine since there was a stretch where he was a bit unlucky.

There was also that missed penalty shot, about half a dozen goal posts and 2 goals called back on challenges. It's good to see things evening out for him the past 2 weeks.

Yea I'm not complaining, his last 3 have just been all really bad goals

A goal is a goal. Weather it's a tip in a blast from the point or a skate in deke. It's the same on the score board. I also believe the goal Kane scored today was just a perfect shot. Not a bad goal at all.
