If he's only a 30 point defenceman - then why is Garth and Sabres fans so fixated on the guy? And if Ennis has so much value surely he should be a huge chip to acquire Weber, or Subban or Karlsson. Truth is Ennis is a decent player, but nothing more.

I'd rather have my 30 point reliable 2-way D-man that could play on any top 4 pairing. Tyler "Tiny Tim" Ennis who has never had a 50+ point season doesn't fit Anaheim's game.

Ennis does have value. To acquire fowler? 100% to acquire a Norris Trophy winner? Ummm No.

Sabres fans and Garfield are fixated on Fowler because we need a young top 4 LHD that can grow with the team. Other then that nothing really there. Probably get better players in free agency like Yandle or Hamhuis. Us wanting Fowler doesn't change the fact that he's still a 30 point defenseman and it never will.
