Trouba to EDM
RNH to WPG - BorjeFan4Ever
Yep. Semi bridge , 4.5 for 3 years.
Then at the draft,
Hamonic + a 3rd
Our first and a small salary dump
Or if it's purely about dollars for the jets,
Our first
Trouba
At the draft;
Nuge
Hamonic + |

Depth players for a cup contender sometimes gets the best of GM's come trade deadline day!! - MountAlbert
I wouldn't bet on nil overpaying. Even then, players like nish don't get move for rentals.
I think there may be other gm's that will have more pressure on them to make a move and hence overpay - but likely in draft picks. |

I think the Oilers and Jets are in very similar spots and will both have busy summers
I think the Jets wait and see how the draft lottery goes, if we happen to luck out and win then we take Mathews and hope to work out a deal around Trouba and Hamonic. If ( or should I say when?) Oil win the lottery maybe the Jets try and trade Trouba plus maybe Burmistrov or someone like that for the number one. Trouba plus our top 10 pick for the number one would be too much in my mind. If the Jets dont win the lottery then a trade for Hamonic or RNH makes sense. Hamonic wants to be in Winnipeg and I for one think you can never have enough good D and it would be nice to have him here

Jets need a RNH talent but not him thank you. Concerns about his strength and ability to stay healthy too much to send a Trouba type asset for him. I like RNH it just appears to me that his 16 year old frame hasn't beefed up in 3 years!
Trouba for Hamonic and Ho-Sang?
Josh Morrissey, Nic Petan and 2017 1st Rd for Drouin and 2017 3rd

holy over payment for Drouin batman. We could end up with a top 4 pick this year, that alone would be fair, and that's only if its not the number one overall! I would consider Morrisey and our first to Edmonton if in fact they won the lottery. We could then either decide to keep Trouba or do a Hamonic deal.

Hes went from 6ft 170 to 6ft 190 in thise 3 years. You dont need to be big to succeed; especially in a team with Wheeler, Byfuglien, Myers, and Ladd (for now ). |

29 teams passed on him at the draft because of his attitude, he slept through training camp last yesr and was sent home. Not sure jets take a chance on him...also Snow loves a kid like ho sang and i dont think wants to give him up just yet
I think hamonic goes to edmonton, trouba would be nice but his contract demands and his agent are to much to worry about.

Before a slspshot in the hand broke it (which I don't see how someone can say that makes him soft) he missed like 10 games in the 4 seasons prior
It's a strange narrative about his health than somehow became fact without much information behind it.
I think the oilers woes makes a lot of people jump to conclusions |

He's only 22 as well.
He's as big or bigger than a sh1tload of successful centers in this league
Again, the narrative about him as a rookie stays prevalent for some reason like he's the only teenager in the world that never grew
He's 6'- 190 |

First off, you spelled Jacob Trouba wrong, Ek.
Second, please no one take Yandle off the Rags' hands. It'd be too beautiful to see him walk for nothing this summer after they gave up Duke and a 1st |

If EDM drafted 1st tomorrow and Trouba was hypothetically in the draft....they should draft him.
Therefore:
trade their 1st rounder for Trouba. (throw in prospects, picks, etc. but that's the foundation of the deal)
I'd do it. |

He's not going anywhere. You guys are cup contenders. It makes no sense to move him right before a cup run. |

Ya Morrissey just got a goal and three assists this afternoon of or the moose. He's back on the radar after that. Good D-men are way harder to find and in turn should have a way higher trade value. |
