He's only 22 as well.

He's as big or bigger than a sh1tload of successful centers in this league

Again, the narrative about him as a rookie stays prevalent for some reason like he's the only teenager in the world that never grew

He's 6'- 190

- HB77

6-190 is a small centre in the central. Schiefele is 6'2 200+...I wouldn't want RNH either.

Hamonic is likely not to get dealt till the draft. He wants to move to the west conference but some people are saying he might wait until there is a team in Seattle or Las Vegas then go there.

RNH has 8 goals which would put him around 8th wpg. Talented player but not a fit for wpg.

If EDM drafted 1st tomorrow and Trouba was hypothetically in the draft....they should draft him.

Therefore:

trade their 1st rounder for Trouba. (throw in prospects, picks, etc. but that's the foundation of the deal)

I'd do it.

- JLO961

that's what I said, I think it's a win win for both teams

Third line centers don't get you blue chip prospects, and third pairing defensemen don't get you first round draft picks.

We just might keep him. I dunno what chiarelli is thinkin.

You don't have to like him for whatever reason some blogger told you to think, that's fine.
I think he's a pretty solid 2 way center already and gonna Blossom in the right situation. But I don't think it's entirely unfair to those who know what they're talking about that might not covet nuge for a few reasons.

I just wanted to be clear that the silly narrative you tried to use as evidence, was in fact silly, and just plain wrong

ANyone can look at their roster and salaries and know Trouba is leaving. This is not journalistic secretive investigation.

I liken The RNH is small and injury prone comment to any come t that States Paul Rubin jerks off in the movie theatre. Do most people believe this to be true? Yes. Is it fact? Certainly not.

So you mean you would trade draisaitl straight up for Trouba? And you guys can do what you want with RNH? I was implying that you wouldn't trade 6'3 future 200 lbs centre and keep a 6'0 190 centre.

I agree, neither would I......but it's also because offensively, Draisaitl seems the more gifted ....that I value more than the size difference between the 2. But yeah, size is a bonus.

For me that who it would take yo get Trouba. I just don't see RNH matching up well against the top centre's in the west.

But I've already shown there's a ton of centers in the west that are comparable in size that match up just fine. As does rnh

Again, it's a narrative that originated when he was a rookie, and those that don't bother to use critical thought still believe for some reason.

He certainly hasn't put up the Numbers many first overalls have put up, and I think for that reason, along with the oilers struggles, people have some preconceived notions about him. And maybe they're not entirely unfair.
But the guy is Solid enough defensively, young enough and talented enough to still be extremely valuable to certain teams. Imo, he might still be a 70 point two way center. If you're enamoured with draisaitls first good years points, the same should be said about rnh's rookie. 52 in 62

I do think RNH is a soft player, so question about that. You have your comparisons to other similar centre's in the NHL, I'll say this: I agree with David Poile, I'd rather have Ryan Johanson for Seth Jones than RNH.

btw, I don't think we should trade trouba in the first place. He can ask for 6 million all he wants, he's not getting it. At least not on this contract.

Has anything posted here by this site, trade theory or rumours ever happened? I read this stuff and wonder?

Why would the Isles give up a top 2 d-man in Hamonic at 3.8mil for 3 more years and a prospect for Trouba, who may not be as good and wants 6+ mil?

I think I should start a blog and let the dog make up the stories.

Chiarelli will eventually trade 'soft skill' players like RNH or Eberle ...
