I don't understand this.
In a trade? Why first round exits?
I have heard Canucks as well in FA. - rmiethaner
Market as in UFA. Those three teams "and sometimes there's a team that is a first round exit who decides they want to jump into the mix" Im paraphrasing of course but thats what he said. |

Ummm right here in reply to Coga... - Wetbandit1
I never said anywhere that "I want Bickell"
What are u talking about?!!
I said "I'd do the deal"
Although I didn't say why exactly,
My reasoning was that I want the 1st & the prospect
Idk why you'd infer Bickell was the reason I'd do the trade though |

I read his reply as more of a "I'd be willing to take on Bickell in order to get..." statement than an "I want Bickell" statement. |

Direct TV. Only thing that I could get for the first couple of years in my house - SDSabre
DirecTV is easily the best provider around in the Buffalo area. I'm not sure how good AT&T's internet is, I haven't heard good things, and I'm not even sure you can get it here. So you have DirecTV and then FiOS for your internet if you can get it. I'd stay away from Time Warner unless you can't get FiOS in your neighborhood, TWC's hardware is dogpoop. And expensive. DirecTV is so, so much better than anything else around here. |

I have FIOS for internet and cable. Quite happy with it as I used to be TW.
Why is DirecTV better for Buffalo?

If there is one team that I would not want the Sabres to turn in to is Ottawa.
They are stuck in the middle of nowhere.

buff39, same guy who called the kane trade. - Sabresfan-365
I wouldn't be surprised if there names have come up
Like if other teams have asked about them
Or internal discussions saying we'd be willing to move Foligno or Larsson in the right deal
I just doubt Murray is looking to trade them for whatever he can get, as if they were a UFA
That wouldn't make any sense |

Fios is far superior for cable and Internet. 150 dl 150 ul. And can't beat the price. |

I think his words were "Definitely trading or definitely looking to move" Hopefully he'll be back near deadline day again with more clarification. |

I'm not saying "want" as in "I have to have him on my team" which it seems you're thinking I'm saying. I'm saying want as in you have no objection to him. I have many, many objections to him. If we're going to be competitive next year we can't afford to have at the very least $3,050,000 in dead cap hit(Him being buried in the minors) or $4,000,000 if he's on the roster. He's useless at the NHL level. He's got 2 points in 23 NHL games this year. We already have one of those guys and he makes $5,000,000. Real salary is actually $6,000,000 this year. |

Correct!
No where did I say,
"I want Bickell"
Not sure why he got that impression
The prospect & the 1st were the good part of that deal for us
And we'd only have Bickell for a year. We could always buy him out too |

The color guy for the Sens compared Ghost to Leetch as far as the way he carries the puck up the ice.... |

I agree for internet. We "only" have 50/50. A 50MBps upload is a waste on about 99% of people though. But for TV it's DirecTV all day long. Where I live now my roommate got rid of FiOS TV because it sucked. Kept internet, because that's great, well 90% of the time anyway. A few days a month you can't stream a damn thing. |

That's fair...
Of course I'd rather not have him,
But it's the other part of the return that I'd "want"
And it would be worth it (depending on the prospect) to have to keep Bickell for only 1 season
How much does it cost us to buy him out?
And if we don't sign Stamkos, we'd have plenty of Cap room anyways

Another 2 goals tonight. Gost+Provorov could be deadly. Sanheim in there too. |

Yeah... But I think exact wording can get lost in translation though
We heard from him, who heard from another guy, and how many other steps were there between that & Murray
Like I said
Makes sense if their names came up
Doesn't make sense if we're treating them like they're UFAs, which was the impression I think he was giving us
Although it's possible I could've misinterpreted what he meant as well |

The Larsson/Foligno bit reminds of the McNabb trade. He may package one of them with one or two picks to get a particular player he's interested in. |

Google fiber is going to be great. But, at first they are going to have a lot of issues. I have a feeling they will take over another company for permits and such. A lot goes into fiber as far as permits, installation etc. |

Fiber is not as elite, meaningful or satisfying as concrete. |
