And he's been playing pretty darn good lately too
Looking much more comfortable and consistent

He's just immature. 24 year-olds need a minimum of 8 incidents before they learn their lesson.

I'm not really worried about him missing time for All star games in the future. I'm worried about the next inevitable incident

Jeeze if this was me I had about 15 incidents before I learned my lesson and now I run a multi million dollar facility...

I get it he has screwed up in the past, I am not happy about it, he should know better I agree. If this was a team fighting for the playoffs I think I would be more mad about it, especially since he has been playing really well as of late. I would rather him call in say he couldn't drive take his medicine and move on. It beats driving through a Tim Hortons (allegedly).

I am not happy but I am not ready to run him out of town either.

Meh, rich kid with more money than brains... Super tatented hockey player. Hopefully the Sabres have someone in the organization to mentor him. He loves the lifestyle, hopefully not too much...

You sound like every Jet fan who was waiting for him to "get it"..... believe me if he ever did, he's a #1 LW on the right team, right line.

Let's just say based on his entire off-ice history he would be getting a little more punishment.

His act will wear thin. Wishes he was in the NBA or the boxing game. Winnipeg and Buffalo both probably not big enough for him. Leaves both whenever possible. When he was here he skipped a player-organized x-mas dinner and went private jet to Las Vegas for 17 hours...again not life alterinig behaviour but has a cumulative effect.

As long as he's producing (been one of our best guys of late) and not doing anything illegal off the ice (which he's NOT)....then i could give a rats arse what he does.

Which would make sense when, at even strength, he takes almost every defensive zone draw and plays almost entirely against the opponents top line IMO.
