We add bonafide top 6 winger. EDM adds desperately needed depth on bottom 6, and a 4-6 cost controlled defensemen.

I was with you all the way until the end.... I don't like the idea of trading Bogo who is honestly our 2nd best DMan on this entire team and prospect pool for Eberle. Let alone in addition to 2 of our better defensive forwards.

I know you don't like Bogo and would take a diet snapple for him at this point.. but Bogo was bought here to be an important top 4 fixture. Not a trade chip 1 year later.


Besides... we ride to the bottom right now.. and we add Matthews/Laine/Puljujarvi/Tkachuk to our top 6 for next year any way.

The Chemistry he's developed with McDavid has pretty much made him untouchable

I really just want CLB, PHX, BUF, and WPG to get the top 4 picks. I respect all of those teams enough that I want them to get better with those talents.

I thought I heard that they are actively shopping Hall and Nuge though???

Hall got demoted to 3rd line the other night for not scoring in like his 13th game I think. I'd personally take Hall before anyone on that team not named McDavid.

You forgot one fatal mistake. The city of Buffalo has worse luck than the Leafs and happen to be hosting the draft this year. Perfect chance to continue that bad luck by missing out on the top three of the lotto.
