I, personally, can't give them props, not now, not ever. not their fans, their organization, their media biatches, not anyone associated with the team (except Harold Ballard, now he ran a tight ship). Not in the least. someone else maybe, they can, but not me.

I just think its a good opportunity to build chemistry for Granlund so he isnt walking into the room new next season. Sven took months before him and Horvat clicked, now Granlund is coming in, gets to know some of his teammates, the coaching staff and can get a summer plan from management when he leaves. Shink was never coming up, he was going to be a part of the Utica playoff run and wouldnt be making an impact on the Canucks next season, Granlund will be there and I see JB wanting to get a head start on next season rather than waiting for the offseason to make the move

Would make some sense, mine and few others first thoughts were more is coming. Too many C's and really if you can acquire Drouin his skillset is high risk high reward. McCann would be a tough piece to lose, but at least he would be out of conference if he was in that deal
