Would love Stamkos but not for the money he is going to command. He's too one dimensional and hasn't even been the same since his big leg injury. He won't live up to whatever insane contract he gets this summer from Tampa or whoever else.
- orangekrush2010

but for every horror story long term contract there are some good ones that have put teams over the edge...we just have been cursed...the thought go stamkos being fed by g is sickening, would become a season ticket holder again if they got him.

He spent 15 minutes on it over the summer when he was on the Steve Dangle podcast. Of couse he's prepped. He's wrong but he's prepped.

Is a hoagie a sandwich? A hero is indisputably a sandwich (a hero sandwich). So if a hero is a sandwich then a hoagie is a sandwich. Cutting the roll in two doesn't change anything. If a hoagie is a sandwich then a hot dog is a sandwich.

Case closed.

- mayorofangrytown

Just putting the word "sandwich" after something doesn't make it so. What is referred to as a "sabre-toothed tiger" is not a tiger, it is actually more akin to a lion.

Something to the effect of that he agrees with a lot of my points but that the game is fine. He does work for the NHL though.
- orangekrush2010

I can vouch for the fact that Doc Emrick wants more fighting in the game.

After reading Eklund's latest rumor blog, I am beginning to doubt his credibility.

It would be dirty and he's still young. Shades of Forsberg-Gagne?

Bread + Stuff + Bread = Sandwich

Rolls are bread. Therefore, this applies to hot dogs, hoagies, cheeseteaks, burgers, whatever.

All types of sandwiches.

another bit from Elliot(te) Friedman-

"I spoke with people in Russia who have watched Kovalchuk recently and they say he is really slow now, and the NHL is a fast skaters game"

maybe another VLC situation brewing?

It would also most definitely solve our need for another top end forward who can score. I would probably do it if the contract was for no more than 5 or so years. None of this 8-10 year bs.

then why are they usually listed in their own section, and not under "sandwiches" on a menu?

Not arguing against, just need to get to the bottom of this ASAP

The same could be said for menus that have all separate sections of Burger, Sandwiches, Cheesesteaks

I thought that "Bread + Stuff + Bread = Sandwich"

A stromboi, much like a hot dog, is a piece of bread folded over "stuff" in between. So how is it not a sandwich?

we'll if they want him they will pay dearly...but it just may be what this team needs, its been a need for years a true wing sniper and he is sitting right there, i don't think the money will hold us back...its whether or not he wants to play with his buddy g or go to pooptonto...i really cannot see why he would go there if he truly wants to raise the cup

a stromboli equation is more like:

bread(stuff)
