The timing of the raffl rumors is curious. Just because they are working on resigning him doesn't necessarily take him off the table. Odds are they'll come to an agreement but I wouldn't think Hexy would be afraid of moving on now from him if they're too far apart |

just got a notice from this past weekend that I was charged by Uber.."Your Uber driver reports that there was an incident that resulted in a mess in his car and required professional cleaning. We have charged your credit card on file 65$."
Don't remember any mess. Makes it sound like my buddy and I decided to un-pants ourselves and take a poo on his backseat. - orangekrush2010
My buddy had a similar incident last weekend except Uber charged him an extra $100 (the fare itself was a little more than $5). They claimed it was for the same reason as yours, that the driver's car required professional cleaning and that he'd lose business in the time it took his car to be cleaned. Him and our 2 other friends all said they didn't make a mess so he protested it. Uber said they stood by their driver with generic e-mail responses. He tweeted at their twitter account and got in contact with another representative that way. Through that person, he was able to get pictures that the driver apparently took and sent them to me. The pictures looked like some vomit on the outside of the car and all 3 pictures looked completely different. Not to mention the ground had leaves on it and that night it had snowed. My friend pointed out all of these things basically saying that a driver can play this card any time he wants because who's going to believe 3 guys who have been drinking. A few e-mails later, Uber reimbursed him the $100. Victory! |

You're a hurricanes fan, but you must not be from the south... I've never heard someone from the south call soda pop. I have heard them refer to absolutely any soda as a 'coke' though. |

I like it. It has not hurt teams like chicago, lak from establishing identities. Those teams have earned competitive advantages like vets signing for less, overseas and UFA college players choosing to play there. I think there is still potential for heated rivalries also. 2012 flyers/pens was about the most heated series id ever seen. - Just5
Yeah, it just took some franchises 10-years to finally get it (Philly being one of them)... a few more or less hit the ground running and haven't looked back. |

So Toronto is going to trade their only decent goalie in reimer? He's still only 27. I hope neivirth is on the block right now. |

Giving up everything to get one player seems like the exact thing the Leafs would do. |
