idk. i think thats a lot for the sabres to give up for a 39 year old goalie. i mean yes theodore has had some stellar games this year, but you can tell he cant stack the pads like he used to.

TB has to move salary to make any kind of move. Ohlund is UFA. 3.5 mill. If he is healthy he takes the 7-8 def spot for remainder of season.

Johnson likely to play against San Jose. Possibly his new team? Hopefully he plays well as a send off. Other than him I think Legwand or Franson (If healthy) would be the other two I could see gone before Monday.

Agreed. A few years ago that might have been a case but he can't crack the line up and would probably welcome the change of scenery.

What he said was that you'll see quite a few heavier suitcases on this trip. His was probably going to be one of them, but he didn't actually come out and say his was going to be bigger.

I would imagine most players that are pending ufa status would prepare For the best/worst case scenario come trade time.
