Agreed loved that movie .. what miracle has to be my all time favorite for sports movies
Nevermind that's a a blatant lie rocky the best movie - gerbe75pts
Best sports movie? Tough call.. I personally love Remember the Titans the most but Sandlot is the best in terms of classic. |

Drouin for Pysyk is a pretty big stretch. Maybe Drouin for McGinn Pysyk and 2017 2nd round pick. But still doubt that's enough. |

This is the best hockey movie ever made.
Made for TV Canadian movie. Spear Kozak scored 76 goals for Mr. Lumbers team and Cathy Yarrow was a great goalie. How Spear supported Cathy was the foundation of their young love. |

obviously not 1 for 1 but as the main piece i could definitely see it. That team is heavy in analytics and pysyk is still cost controlled.
I know it's not as big as you'd expect for a former 3rd overall pick but if nobody else is offering anything better... |

I'm saying they wouldn't go for it. Drouin is still a number 3 overall pic from 3 years ago. I've never heard Buffalo really interested, my guess is he will go to a team like Anaheim in need of a playoff scoring touch.
Y said he wanted something that would help him in the playoffs right now. Don't know if he wants rentals but McGinn along with Pysyk could be a good offer. But more than likely it will require someone with a little more clout. We don't really have that. If Ennis had been playing and have say 15 goals so far this season, I could've seen him as a trade piece for Drouin. I'd bet the scouts are there for the Ducks. |

Raging Bull? Caddyshack? Come on... I don't count those as sports films.... Sure they deal with a sport but they're not solely about it. Both are obviously classics though. |

I usually stay away from old movies I don't like it quality usually sucks - gerbe75pts
You're missing out. "The Dirty Dozen" "The Great Escape" "The Sting" "12 Angry Men" "All the President's Men" Just to name 5 old movies -I could go on and on- that are some of the best movies ever made, and definitely worth watching even thought "the quality sucks". |

Wow. Surprised about Hoosiers being your number two seeing it is a basketball movie.
No hate, that is one of my top five favorite movies of all time (regardless of sports). |

On films like that I prefer the quality over some over produced Avatar crap. |

I'm not surprised, it came out in 1999, you were probably still in diapers at the time. It's not a classic like "Slap Shot", or a big movie like "Miracle" was, but still an excellent hockey movie. It's got Burt Reynolds as a small town Judge. How awesome is that? |

Hoosiers was a great movie and I was always a Gene Hackman fan, back to the days of French connection, Poseidon adventure, etc. |

Caddyshack is about golf but more about the country club
Ragging Bull is about boxing but more about the guy's psyche and family
I guess if you're including those then there's a lot of other films I could include too. |
