Don't bother Brandon, you already know the garbage that showed up after the game, BTW the parade is scheduled for Friday in Newark, I think it's at an Icon parking garage

Oh, I noticed that and read enough internet content regarding this contest, to put two and two together.

Sad that the Metro rivals simply outwork the Rangers every night it seems. The Isles and Devils play the Rangers with a lot of ffort and energy and the Rangers seem to be on cruise control.

the Devils had a level of desperation last night like their season depended on it and it showed, and Schneider made a couple of outrageous saves

plus not having our best weapon in JT Miller in the 3rd period and starting out with 7 straight PIM's didn't help. Game was only 3-2 going into 3rd. Normal situation we could have still won it

As you would expect

No one but the Caps are rolling through their schedule with out dips in play. Our last 15 or so games are going in the right direction. gotta look at the bigger picture

Washington is definitely living a charmed regular season. We'll see when the playoffs get here but there is no disputing their dominance from November until now.

Really happy that Stempniak was a huge factor in all three Devil wins against the Rangers.

Truly warms the cockles of my heart to see that.

No Steen, Allen in net, need Mac and Staal back in, would like to see a team angry with themselves over their last performance come out and get a big 2 points

If the Rangers have an early exit it will be interesting to watch if they can actually take the next step this year. No team is built like them.

Could be catching them at the right time. They are suffering some key injuries: no Elliot, no Steen, Pietrangelo as well.

If it were the Rangers there would be articles written about how they're peaking at the wrong time and they won't last through the playoffs......oh wait there were just last season

they'll need Ovechkin to stop thinking the series is over if he scores the first goal in game 1 of a series

Cannot stand the bloggers/ people on twitter who seem to forget that he would be a fringe 4th liner on this team compared to one of the go to guys on that NJ team. Just like the corsi arguments they shape their argument

Mistakes made during 3-9-2 slump on full display in horrific second period

As I posted last night w regards to Miller's ejection, I posted the video of the only other time I remembered that happening in a players ejection & later suspension was the Franky Leroux fight w Tony Twist in 96. But there was a rivalry there w those 2 being in about 3 or 4 fights that season & the one prior. Leroux went in w ammo & got the win on Twist but eventually lost the war & when they fought later the next yr it was no contest Twist.

This was not the case here as they were non fighters & in no way was Miller trying to get any "fight advantage" w the tape. Rule is the rule & it should end there. Unlike Leroux where it was premeditated, this just happened & wont happen again.

I was wrong about knuckles but not about tape going below the wrist, the comments in the blog stated that your trainer did not believe the tape was "below the wrist" your pic shows clearly that it was. Now if you want to argue that the rule is antiquated, you may have an argument, and yes there was support on the devil in the same manner though it clearly is a soft support and not tape. The rule specifies tape, so.........

True but three goals in four contests, two game winners.

How is that Devil lineup, as currently constructed, in the thick of the playoff race?

Band of misfits, with a few good young players thrown in and a world class goalie? Being competitive is one thing but they have a legitimate shot at the postseason; that is flat out miraculous.

Oh without a doubt; the dearth of offensive skill on Jersey forced Stempniak into a top six role.

I am not mad they let him go just highly annoyed that he was a big factor in helping his team win the season series against the Rangers.

Next two games against two of the better teams out west.

I'll be happy with three points here. Not inconceivable they win both but they put in a sorry effort, like last night, they will return home with a goose egg.

Not a single NHL team can get away with sleepwalking their way to a win.
