I'm foggy on that, but I think he did drop the gloves during that time once w Randy Wood of the Islanders. - B2B76
Wood probably ran the goalie. The one thing I remember about that guy is how he used to fly down the wing, dip the shoulder towards the net, and lay waste to the goaltender. Kreider has nothing on that guy.
Anyone remember Daniel Goneau (spelling?) getting off to a great, Calder type start for a week & a half for the Rangers back in 95-96, or 96-97? Guy was sent down when we got some regulars back & he never saw the light of day again. Big kid w decent hands. - B2B76
I don't, but those years I was in a bit of a Rangers' blackout (college out of state), so had to work to see the occasional Rangers game. Kind of like the Aaron Voros start that year? The one where Voros looked like Adam Graves for about 15 games.

Little plugger too, Isles had a lot of those types in the early 90s, like Rob DiMaio, Keith Acton, Vukota.

Yea he was Voros, before there was Voros but the kid literally dissapeared, never saw him up w the team again. Maybe he banged Neil Smith's wife. It was Oct 1996 btw.
Miloslav doesn't like books and music. That's what you get from 7th journeymen defensemen.

Hey!! I had 22 points in 80 NHL Games.
Thats more than Marc Staal in all but two seasons of his entire NHL career...
Journeyman my arse! I'm elite by those standards and deserve a $6MM salary

One guy I was trying to remember but can't. Young defenseman, I think slovak or czech, would throw huge open ice hits. Late 90's?
Do you remember Milo scoring a big third period goal in a comeback win against the Isles? I remember it being 4-1 Isles in the third, and the Rangers coming back and winning. It had to be in 1990 or something. But I could just be mis-remembering the whole thing. - Pete V

Glanced at some of the lineups from 95-96 Ranger teams & man did they have a goonsquad. They had the entire 3rd & 4th lines plugged w Langdon, Churla, Kocur (when he wasn't always hurt), Sergio Momesso (who even I have barely any memory of him playing for us)-HATED him from Vancouver. Then u had Beuke, Ulfie & at the end of that yr McSorley on D.
Ironically the next game was also against the Isles at the Moz & was up until March 1994 the last time they would win in that building...I really miss the back to back home & home games w the Isles, almost never happens anymore.

Yes!! Thank you. Wtf ever happened to him. He looked really good for a short time, then disappeared. Knee injury or something? - mdw7413
Yea decimated knee, ended up in Atlanta but never came close to becoming anything he was projected to. Beat the snot out of Yashin in a brawl, then Czrekawski the coward literally held Kloucek's arms behind his back while Yashin punched him in the face yet every Islander fan kept saying "our non fighter beat up your goon".

Yeah, I remembered the knee thing. Didn't know he went to atlanta. Just remember him having some of the biggest open ice hits.

Think how stupid the league is, in just 10 years we've gone from playing divisional opponents 8 x each (which was too much, 6 is the right #) to either 5 or even just 4 now.

this happened because every team in the league demanded to see Sidney Crosby in their arena once a year
