in some respects, but, that is such a dark time, just seeing the Rangers losing 4-0 and seeing names like Karpa out there, ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhh - jimbro83
I meant in respect to the rivalry. Not the Rangers play so much.. If you can't win, just fight the whole game. At least it made it fun to watch |

You can even leave the Caps out as far as I'm concerned. As long as the Devils, Rangers, Isles and Flyers are all together. - smellmyfinger
I couldn't stand Hunter. He was like Kurt Russel's evil twin on skates |

Four regulars out, for St. Louis, when the Rangers limp into town tomorrow night. |

McDonagh should wear an Eli Manning special edition Marvin the Martian helmet the rest of the year |

Eric Staal's last 17 games, 1 goal and 4 points. Future ranger for sure. |

I'm 100% against getting Staal unless it is for peanuts with Carolina retaining a good portion of the salary.
I will root for him, but will not be a happy camper. And at least if he plays like garbage he walks |

The Canes would half to eat half the salary. No chance they ask for Ryan Bourque and Matt Bodie. Don't worry, when we give up Gropp+ for E.Staal, I'm sure E.Staal will go back to being the 100 pt player. |

It would be such a "punching bag" move from the hater brigade we would get killed. Eric Staal is done, I wouldn't give up a bag of pucks for him. |

I don't think we have to worry, we aren't going to get him, besides the Canes will pass the Pens and Devils to get the last spot.....there I said it |

That can't happen. Tanner would be right and we just can't have that. |

Not saying the Rangers may not want them to...but the Canes don't need to retain any money to make the trade work with the cap. The Rangers have plenty of space to acquire Staal. |

I don't think they do. As of right now, the Rangers only have close to 1.1 million in projected cap space. Don't see how the trade can happen if the Canes don't eat 4+ million of the cap hit. And the actual money on the term is 9.5 million in actual dollars. |

We could move Boyle up to Forward, giving McIlrath a full time spot and create a line of Boyle-Staal-Kreider and call it the money pit line..... almost $15MM worth of useless hockey players |
