2. Why would he go to the Leafs if he wants to go to the playoffs?

I thought unless he sat out a full season of hockey the only team he was eligible to return to was the Devils ? If that's not the case why would the big players on everyone else not be involved like your beloved flyers ?

Devils aren't making the playoffs. They're ready to sell on Stemp right now. The teams ahaed of them are better and some are just finding consistency. Therefore, why waste the money/time/energy on him.
