I don't think JB wants to include Hansen and Edler because both are under contract for the coming season and if they aren't moved, it might create some hard feelings. If the right deal comes along, we can only hope JB won't be hesitant to ask for NTC's to be waived.. - hillbillydeluxe
I take your point.
I still don't think listing players that have been waived/demoted/sat are available is any big revelation. |

No. For all his faults, Edler is still bigger and better offensively. With Tanev and Sbisa coming back you need whatever offense Edler can provide unless you can upgrade him in a trade. Hamhuis was great 4-5 years ago but his time has come. (Unless you're a GM looking to trade us a 1st rounder for him. If that's the case, he's incredible.) - YeOldTimer
Ok. So you mean no to trading Edler... that is a different question.

Thanks for the insight. I am glad to see Benning go after Dmen that are attacking instead of only defending.
Would you say he is like a Tory Krug? - VANTEL
Not as good at handling bigger bodies as Krug because he isn't built as stocky as Krug. He's remarkably lanky for a player who's around 6ft. I wouldn't say he was overwhelmed by bigger players, but was never adept at being in front of the net. He was much more of the kind of Dman to block the lanes rather than tie a guy up. |

Yep. Didn't want to be an oiler so they got something, and it's low risk for Vancouver. One has to assume the condition of the pick is on him signing? - Bieksa#3
Condition is based on him meeting certain production requirements. |

Benning has said time and time again, that he would prefer no picks, and just do "hockey trades" - Bieksa#3
You've already been busted for making up Benning quotes in the past.

KHL is on the bigger ice surface, be insteresting to see the adjustment for Larsen/Trymakin. Larsen has NHL games under his belt though. - neem55

Its a 5th that can become a 4th if he meets those goals. According to Bobby Mack. |

Trusting JB's & associates assessment on talent, as there is no choice. |

Irony...the one video I could find of Larsen, and he is scoring on Markstrom!
Good wheels

Really shows off his wheels. There were times when he'd make a mistake as with all offensive D, but he always pushed when recovering from an ill-advised or unsuccessful pinch. |

I could be wrong, but I'm assuming that's directed at a certain BC boy.
I don't know why edm wants to use him so much. Just use him as a pp point man. Forget these tip 4 minutes - Bieksa#3

I think it was Lefty that posted a Linden sound cloud clip last night, he talked about expecting the back lash and such from the fans and media, saw it at last year's tdl too... maybe all the flack they received about trying to make the playoffs has pushed them to change the message a bit to show they are with the program... maybe not tanking, but willing to make moves when it is evident we will miss the playoffs?
Really, I am not sure if JB, TL and co. will be able to make any move that pleases everyone.
I guess I am saying it is prolly pr more for the fans and media than GM's of other teams who he is likely in constant contact with... Trader Jim, always on the phone... |

Take your own advice man, you are the only one who feels the need to constantly bring up old debates.
Honestly no offense but you seem to get really wound up about some of this.

You constantly single one person out when people are would up about topics. Thats why it has no validity.

Torts took CBJ out of last and within one win of the Nucks
Also, only 4 points out of the top 3! |

I'm guess if trader bob is right about them wanting a draft pick too, there is that plus the money to work out. I don't hate the deal myself. |
