Vrbata is signing back in ARI in the summer anyway. I have seen reports that his family didn't adjust well to the move and they all really liked growing up in Arizona. What kind of package would CHI offer though, you can't pull a fast one on Bowman...

I said time will tell. Which assumes he'll either be a moron or not or even something else.

I think Benning's done a solid job in the area the Canucks needed the most help in and that's drafting. that 2014 draft looks like it could give you 3 legit NHL'ers in Virtanen, McCann, and Demko. I think Tryamkin will end up being a solid one as well.
2015 looks pretty good too. Boeser looks like he'll be a goal producer. our 2nd was used on Baertschi. I wouldn't be surprised if one of Brisebois, Neil or Tate panned out. If we keep on averaging 3-4 productive NHL this team will be fine!

The Hamhuis and Vrbata is cycling through the blackhawks thread now and most of them are really interested and would love to make that deal. The consensus being TT + for Vrbata and Hamhuis. What do you all think about that? I would be extremly happy with a return starting with TT and a Defenseman prospect?

I wouldn't be interested in Forsling. If his career progression goes very well he could one day end up being similar to Larsen. I'd prefer a D prospect with decent size and a first or second round pick for the pair
