Really liking this sleep thing in my old age.

We're so (frank)ing slow and we could of got blown out but crazy eyes was on his game ..

With the way they were playing towards the end of the third, I was really hoping we'd see Bylsma make a drastic play and pull the goalie during the power play with 5+ minutes remaining........just didn't see them scoring without that added punch

We look like last years team without O'Reilly. Lehner is the only reason we lost by 1 goal.

Was never a Ryan Kesler fan until i watched him in Sochi for the US. If I'm not mistaken he had a broken wrist and worked harder than anyone ive ever seen. Give a ton of credit to Bruce. He said if we don't want to score goals then we sure as hell better keep them out of our net. Ducks are for real imo

That's the thing, no idea where it was. Honestly it might have even been a facebook comment. All I know is it's the second time I heard it.

But a source that I can't even remember and knew at the time to be not even good and Garth aren't the best so I'm not saying it's true or anything.

Didn't watch after the 1st, but I'm assuming Lehner looked pretty good. .966 sv%. Looking for the positives and he's been one of them. Would be a big help if he holds down the #1 spot going forward.

From Yost, Lehner has a .917 sv% in his first 100 games. Miller had a .915.

Game notes:
-Let Samson stay at center. He hasn't played well but like everything else i think he'll improve with each game.

-Everyone has been in love with Bailey. Imo he works his tail off which gets people to notice him but isn't that productive with all that effort. Not a shot at him just saying sometimes it's better to let the hands and mind work at the same level as the legs. Overall seems to have a solid shot to be a full time nhler fairly soon.

I mentioned at the beginning of the year that it would be a decent idea to go after Skinner. Plenty of pros, plenty of cons, but provides scoring and fits age of the team. I seemed to be in minority.

Anyone change their minds? With his speed and goal scoring sense, could be an excellent winger for Eichel.

perhaps he forgot the impact Foligno made and just how much he came back down to earth...and bailey hasn't even hit the scoresheet yet

Bailey - needs more seasoning, as his AHL game has only recently been dominating. You give that kid a full year of domination, I think he'll totally be ready. I love what I see from him, it's just not all here yet.

I'm not worried about Bailey. If he had some puck luck he'd have at least 3 goals right now. Hasn't even played a season in the AHL, let him learn and he'll be fine. I still like his effort and that speed and drive will help him do well in the NHL.
