You guys are really making fun of someone for how he spells players names? You have no idea if he/she has some kind of learning disability etc. I get his trade suggestions are pretty out there but come on! Thats what this site is here for. - Smittyx36
Could be someone drunker than us and wants to see some on heres reaction. And giggle his ass till midnight.
I have no problem with here says on our thread. promotes why and hows. Hate the problems some have with it. Sometimes those guys?girls bring more to the thread than they do. What they have to chat about. I welcome all tidbits and if you take it for god truth and you want proof. your on the wrong site. |

Roslovic might be better but I think he's shedding the whole "he doesnt compete" theme. |

Schultz Purcell might be going to Florida
Said earlier that I thought Mcginn/Foligno + Franson might be an option for them since they could use some bottom 6 help and PP help.
Purcell and Schultz would in theory give them that. Also helps that they backed down on Boedker/Ladd. |

Did I belittle him ? Don't want him viewed as the Voice of The Sabre Fan is all I said . Because he is pretty ridiculous with his proposals at times. Please step down from your soapbox on this one!

It seems like Buffalo is going to play second fiddle in this thing... I'll say this again at this point I'd rather keep McGinn and try and resign him in the off season at a reasonable deal if we don't get more than what we got for Chris Stewart. If Florida gets both guys from Edmonton there goes another trade player for Franson and McGinn. |

Problem with free agency is they're not interested in reasonable. If he was good in his own end id be good with it but he really doesn't bring much other than some inflated scoring. |

I just don't want to see us pull a darcy and have Murry favor his players too much. Edmonton and Toronto are getting rid of all their dead weight why can't Buffalo do the same? McGinn is not dead weight but I'm not going to give him up for just a 3rd round pick or a 4th and some grinder ahl lifer. If that's the case I'd rather keep him and lose him for nothing. It would be insulting if that's all he goes for.
I also want to see Murry get rid of this teams dead weight. I get that some of it can't be done till the off season. (He has to ice a full team after all.) But if I'm sitting here this time in September and all of Franson, Moulson, Gionta, Larsson and Foligno are here I'm going to be pissed and we'll be back in the lottery again. |

I don't think he's attached to any of them, i expect most if not all of them to be gone within the next 6 months.
Don't really think Foligno/Larsson are dead weight either. |

Not true unfortunately. Hate Eisenberg. Not a fan of making Batman look like Ironman. I know this isn't a popular statement to say and I've gotten grief from comic book friends about it but I'm not expecting much at all. I loved Nolan's batman and the first two Keaton Batman's but I don't think this one will be good. Suicide Squad on the other hand.... |

I think they're not contributing anything offensively and only one of them needs to be on this team taking up a roster spot. Unfortunately you've got two vets who also take up roster spots who need to go more than the two above. Moulson is busted but we're stuck with him till 2019! He's the third highest paid forward on this team. It's just simply unacceptable. Gionta is only here for another year I get he's probably here until next March at least. He's not too terrible but he's got one of the worst touches for the net I've ever seen, he's small and he's slow. Unless Murry can make a Hudini and get rid of those two some of these muddled 3rd liners need to go to make are top 6 and top 4 on D better. |

I think that's the point most of us are making. I know that's the point I'm making. When/if he gets to pick which team he goes to, he'll pick where he knows he'll be the number one center and has the best chance to win. Chemistry is a huge part of it, when players aren't happy they don't perform. Having 3 legitimate 1C doesn't work, because it likely means you've skimped elsewhere, or have a very short window. There's only so much ice time to go around. Teams have to be 4 line teams in today's NHL, gone are the days where you just throw your top 2 lines out there and some 3rd line with 4th line guys getting 4 minutes at best.
And it's not that I wouldn't want to pay him that much, but I think $12 is a skosh high. It's that in two years when Jack is due, and giving him ROR money, we'll likely have ~$25 million for three centers and that's "just" $10M for Stamkos, and I don't think he signs for anything under Kane/Toews unless he resigns in Tampa I can see him giving them a very slight discount. That's way too much. Pittsburgh is only at $20M for their top 3C. And LA is the next closest at just under $20M starting next year. - Wetbandit1
I hear your concerns, but I don't totally agree
I think some of what u said is just speculation
And if we did sign Stamkos, one of those top3 centers you're speaking of prob plays the wing
If PK88 was available, would u be ok if we signed him?
Idk that Stamkos and/or Eichel wouldn't be happy on the wing anyways
It's fun to debate...
But I think the only sure thing we know is that if Stamkos hits UFA status, Murray will pursue him
Can we get him signed?
Idk, but I guess we'll just see what happens
