He might end up the best player we gave up. He's killing penalties too. - sbroads24
That PK thing is kinda surprising
I think he's gonna end up being pretty good for them
Compher is the guy I wish we had back
I really like the way he plays |

Not true unfortunately. Hate Eisenberg. Not a fan of making Batman look like Ironman. I know this isn't a popular statement to say and I've gotten grief from comic book friends about it but I'm not expecting much at all. I loved Nolan's batman and the first two Keaton Batman's but I don't think this one will be good. Suicide Squad on the other hand.... - bluengold12
If what I've read and heard is true, it'll be tremendous.
Eisenberg is said to be the quintessential Luthor and one of the best parts of the movie as everything shown from him in the trailers is a total facade.
You must not be a comic guy if you think they're making him look like Ironman as the the look they're giving him, for only a part of the movie, is from what most consider the greatest Batman story ever told. |

I like the more gritty real Batman from the animated series from the 90s and the dark knight trilogy.
As far as Eisenberg. I'm not super familiar with Superman. I know it more than the average watcher but nothing close to above average. But what I do know is acting and hopefully Eisenberg is 1000X better than what he has shown in the previews because it looks incredibly forced and fake to me. The trailers may get the avengers crowd in but to me so far it looks like they're trying to turn it into a war and over dramatize everything. That's fine for some but not what I personally love about the Batman character. I'll still see it and hopefully like it.
I loved Deadpool a lot and I went in with very low expectations so I'll never say never.
As far as the Ironman bit I don't know much about the suite I'll have to look it up but I prefer more of Batman film noir that is in the animated series if that makes sense. |

Seen a few jets games over the past month or two and he's been impressive everytime
Was the best player on either team against the oilers a couple weeks ago - HB77
Figured he'd be a good one but didn't expect his two way game to be so good. |

This Batman is going to be just like the animated series and the Arkham video games, which everybody likes the most.
The entire point of what they've shown of Luthor so far is that it's totally fake and a facade for the public to hide who he really is.
They also showed Doomsday for a reason as I believe that is not the big finish. |

Limited sample size, playing cushy minutes. Let's see what happens on a more expanded role. |

It was difficult to know what he'd bring at the NHL level based on his AHL results. |

Funny how it didn't stop people from taking shots at his work ethic, d-zone play etc. at the time of the trade. |

It looks very Avengers to me and DC is trying to be more like Marvel with the future Justice league installments which I hope will be good. The movie previews show nothing to make me think it will be more like the animated series or The Dark Knight Returns, Year One comic books |

Has averaged 11:15 per game good for low end 3rd line minutes |

The Nolan movies, which I also loved, were not from the comics.
This movie will be much closer to the comics, which some won't like. It won't be like Year One, it'll be just like the beloved Frank Miller Dark Knight graphic novel. |

For me, I had no idea what the guy would be as a player and his development was ultra slow for me to be anywhere near certain that he'd wven be a good player, let alone a really good one. |

Wasn't Nolan's films similar to one of the graphic novels? |

Not even close. At best, he took bits and pieces here and there. |

When you trade your captain that stuff happens. They also have one of the best D cors in the league. If only they had elite centers and better goal tending they'd be playoff perennials |

I was pretty positive he took from the dark knight returns comic books and one of the graphic novels. Was mentioned in interviews. |

He took a piece here and there to use it as part of his own overall story lines, like Bane breaking his back, which was the only part of that entire story arc he took from the comics.
He cherry picked to appease the comics fans while telling his own stories, which I have no problem with. |

Not disputing any of that just think he had a great game and curious to see if he continues it with those tougher minutes.
Always figured the added prospects/picks would tip the scale of the trade, early days but not a good sign. |

Okay fair enough. Going back to Eisenburg I just can't take him seriously as playing an intimidating villain. I would love to be proved wrong but as of right now at most he'll just come off as a winy neurotic genius type character. I would've much rather Bryan Cranston play him. |

Exactly, he played one good game. We'll see how it continues.
It's still a bit early to tell and we'll see how Lemiux does when he comes in the league. If he puts up an average of 30-50 points a year I'd say we lost the trade. With being stuck with Bogosian till 2020. I can only see the guy regressing I don't think he'll ever get better than what he is which is an inconsistent player. Similar to Myers in that regard. I've liked Kane thus far but for us to win this trade he needs to be a perennial 70 point player which he is not close to thus far. |

Watch the movie and find out
When Ledger was cast as the Joker, there was an outpouring of complaints...until people saw the movie. |
