Exactly, he played one good game. We'll see how it continues.
It's still a bit early to tell and we'll see how Lemiux does when he comes in the league. If he puts up an average of 30-50 points a year I'd say we lost the trade. With being stuck with Bogosian till 2020. I can only see the guy regressing I don't think he'll ever get better than what he is which is an inconsistent player. Similar to Myers in that regard. I've liked Kane thus far but for us to win this trade he needs to be a perennial 70 point player which he is not close to thus far. - bluengold12
Both are low hockey IQ players too which doesn't help. It's also possible the league wide value of the players given up was so low compared to what we thought of them that this was the best they could do. Id love to know what else was available. |

Available for Myers? I think we could've probably done better but I think all along it was Kane Murry wanted not to get rid of Myers. It was sort of a means to an end to get rid of Myers and because Kane and Bogosian were both top 5 picks we had to give up three more prospects plus an average 2nd line winger who ran out his welcome in Buffalo. In the end Kane needs to be a 60-70 point player next year. |

When you trade your captain that stuff happens. They also have one of the best D cors in the league. If only they had elite centers and better goal tending they'd be playoff perennials - bluengold12
Idk about that...
They're division is so tough
Hawks, Stars & Blues are a lock every year now
Nashville is prob gonna be a lock too, especially now that they've got some legit centers with Johanson & Forsberg
Id say Winnipeg will group in with the AVs & Wild, fighting for that last wild card spot

McGinn to LA on Monday - Pegullaville
I like that prediction
They were a team that supposedly was in on Ladd
Tampa wants to make a move or 2 also...
And Florida

It looks very Avengers to me and DC is trying to be more like Marvel with the future Justice league installments which I hope will be good. The movie previews show nothing to make me think it will be more like the animated series or The Dark Knight Returns, Year One comic books - bluengold12
it doesnt look like the avengers, it looks horrible. And their trailer gave away the entire movie. |

They've got a better D core than the stars and have a really good pipeline of wingers and defenders. I agree they don't have any centers which is why I said they aren't perennial play off contenders. |

If you're playing the twitter game it seems like Purcell is the one going to LA not McGinn but that may not be true. We'll see by tomorrow I bet. Purcell probably goes before the end of tomorrow. |

Who costs more right not Yak or Drouin?
Also it seems both teams want D help in return we don't really have it unfortunately... McCabe could be a name but he's likely not the type of defender that would get it done. |

The Jonathan Drouin situation is hard for Tampa Bay they don't have an upper hand at all I think he'll go less than what Kyle Turris went for .. I know we can play the game that he was drafted high but GM's are going to say yes but he has not done anything .. Tampa Bay has no leverage in the situation |

I'd say drouin. If we were gonna go for one he'd be my choice. I wouldn't be happy bringing yak in unless it was stupid cheap... Which isn't going to happen. |

per hockey future
tampa's prospects
Weaknesses
Young centers
Lacking experienced offensive-minded defensemen

I meant in general, my guess is low number of trades and no wow factor |

I'd say in order of our D in terms of trade value (Not saying these players should be traded)
Risto, Guhle, McCabe, Pysyk, Franson, Martin, Gorges, Bogosian.
Only the top three could net Yak or Drouin. And I'm not interested in trading either of the top 2 not for those players. If we did try and move Pysyk. Edmonton would seem like a good place as he's from there but they want bigger guys I feel like. If it was Edmonton given Yak's major struggles I bet it would cost us Pysyk Foligno and 2016 2nd round pick. Even that's probably not enough of quality |
