if 2 guys have basically the same stats...
Freshman>>>Redshirt senior
That causes me concern about Kasdorf
Idk why that's gotten such blowback?
The way I read things was that they weren't happy with Kasdorf's last season, which is why they tried to bring in another goalie
Maybe it was the "turning pro" thing,
But if that's true...
Why did they wait to sign Hackett until AFTER the guy the thought would at least compete with Kasdorf decided to go to Juniors?
If they really thought Kasdorf was going Pro,
Shouldn't they have tried to bring in multiple goalies?
Not saying you're wrong...
But from what I've read, it doesn't seem to add up - jdfitz77
It's the NCAA and they are RPI, not Michigan or Minnesota, guys aren't breaking down their door to play there!
And look at Kasdorf's freshman stats better than Hackett's
It's the NCAA goalies stats change more than Oprah's weight in the 90's. It goes up it goes down and its almost purely based on the team in front of them.

Guys don't have to be "breaking down the door"
Idk at what point they thought Kasdorf would turn pro, & when they found out otherwise
It just makes sense to me they'd have tried to bring in more than just one guy if that was the case
I do get what u say about stats...
I agree
But they also wanted a new starter, or at the very least someone who they thought could compete with Kasdorf for playing time
Maybe they thought he wouldn't bounce back from his poor junior year?
Idk
I can't speculate on why they weren't confident in him, but it sure seems that way

Or I was making some food instead of replying to u (again) being condescending and acting like a jerk for no reason - jdfitz77
I asked you to back up your argument and you called me a jerk for it
You said he was getting out player by a fresh but the fresh hasn't played a game since 12/12/15 so coaches don't agree.
You said he wasn't good until his senior year but I showed his freshmen year wad phenomenal w a 1.65 gaa.
You said he wasn't that great at RPI statistically and I showed he is top 4 in all ncaa in gaa.
You said they wanted to bench him before this year. I couldn't find that proof so I asked you where you got it.
Don't get mad at me because nothing you said actually holds water. It is a discussion. It is point then counter-point.
If you can't backup your side don't get mad at me and call me names. I never called you a name. I just said it is my right to call another's opinion stupid or wrong. Take it easy on the hormones man. Just a discussion. Have a good weekend. Go Sabres |

Suppressing shots? As in how many and from where. Adjusted I assume for the latter of those two and ice time. |

I like the idea of trading draft pick(s) to give Yakupov a fresh start
Worth the risk IMO |

Depending on the picks I am down for it.

Was looking at who the best and worst at high danger scoring chances against are (D-men with at least 500 mins)
This was a really surprising list. Any guesses on who is the worst? |
