Well I mean... a godsend to their blueline is different than a godsend to the rest of the NHL.

I wouldn't use other contracts to justify overpaying McGinn. Next year, he should be on the 3rd line. We already overpay Gionta for his 3rd lone minutes(however I understand why he got the contract he did when he did) and Moulson, the last thing we need is another 3rd liner getting over paid.
