Does anyone else notice African-Canadians (correct term?) are non existant in Vancouver or is it just me?

It's more like 1 or 2% at most, but those are the one's you hear about, the ones who make a statement, the rest you don't hear about because they don't do something quite as drastic. It doesn't help that down in the States, if you want to get some sort of gun, all you need to do is go to a gun show and say that you're a collector. Not to mention that ammo is sold over the counter at Wal-Mart and other convenience stores.

Ya its not a huge community....but I do know several africans. Jamaicans here too.
It is growing however and also Mexicans as well.
Notice there are authentic mexican food restaurants going up everywhere.

Its easier than that. You can buy guns in walmart too. But ya I know what you mean, the specialty guns yes, trade shows.

Theres soooo many guns already in the USA its just circulation.....kinda like dollar bills. The smuggled guns from mexico factor in there too. You can go to almost any street corner in the US and find out who to buy guns from. And we're talking automatics at that.

There are a lot more now than 5 years ago.

The way I see it, there are only 9 teams that would consider Vrbata or Hamhuis. The other teams are either not serious contenders or a bad match:

Rangers
stars
Caps
Blues
Tampa
ANA
FLA
CHI
Kings

I could see Vrbata in FLA or perhaps Anaheim. Hamhuis I could see landing in NY, Dallas, LA or CHI. A lot needs to go right if we expect decent returns.

Hopefully there are a few top 6 injuries this weekend

not so sure the blues should be on that list. Hitchcock likes to have players strictly in position in his system. Takes so very long to learn the system for players, so rentals close to PO time dont make sense.

If you look at forwards and goaltending yes there is a solid base there.
D however is such an unknown at this point. Its a big question mark with how good tryamkin will be, if hes coming, who else we have etc.

But unless there is a change with at least assistant coaches, PO success isnt that likely.
Gotta put in a decent Defensive system at minimum. Likely a new PP & PK guy too.

I have a couple of black friends in Vancouver.... but I know them from Toronto... back in the 80's they were Skinheads of all things

I know others in Vancouver but that was back in my gang days and we were definitely not friends.

Tryamkin's team got plastered today 6-0 and is down 2-1 in the series.
