Of course but you know Dallas will never even consider that.

Oduya looked great last night on that one goal...

What would you do to win the cup?

If you could get Nichushkin out of Dallas for Hamhuis, would you do it?
- hillbillydeluxe

I dont even have to think about that one....of course. We'd get Hamius back anyways....Execute now....push the button!

I feel for Hammer. How many here would like to leave their wife or kids for four months.
- VANTEL

almost half the games left are Road games (10 of 22) though, so is it really that big of a deal, I know 4 months is a lot longer but still

4 months no cheese sandwiches with the plastic left on....good deal for you tho!

Theyre millionaires. No reason why family cant be out with Hammer on weekends or kids with family and wife joins him for awhile. There's spring break too and Easter as well. Wouldnt be that bad.

It is really funny how low value Canuck players get.

Jordan Eberle gets mentioned with every big trade going. He cost 6 mil per has 19 goals 17 assists and 36 points. He gets 6 mil for another 4 years

Jannik Hansen costs 2.5 mil has 19 goals 13 assists and 32 points . He has a way better all around game and people laugh if you compare contracts.

It is time to move on from the old guys like Vrbata Prust Higgins Burrows and Hamhuis and let the new guys do their thing.

He has a young family. I don't see how anyone can make a decision over night as to leaving their kids/wife for 4 months.

Also is it a coincidence that the Player featured for February on the Pharmasave Canucks Calendar is none other than Dan Hamhuis?? Coincidence or Master Plan to move him out from the beginning?

What i think is at play here is JB is PLAYIN the Bawks against LA Anaheim Dallas.
He is creating an arms race with the Hawks being the carrot dangled n the others want to keep pace with. This will play out soon IMO n might happen to ight or tomorrow if Hammer has given his ok already.

Stay tuned n x your fingers i'm guessing correctly

The beauty of it all is no other D is available like a Hamhuis with Russell a question mark as of this moment.

Burrows 4 years ago had big numbers playing with the Sedins too. I am not saying Hansen is a bad player.. I am just saying, Sedins make lots of average players look really good.

I know listening to 1040 is akin to a crack addiction, the side effects

they were saying that Hamhuis wouldn't waive to go to any playoff team but only a real cup contender... If he is waiving to win the cup, this sounds logical, if he is waiving to show his stuff to get a better contract next season, it shouldn't matter what playoff team he goes to as long as he plays well. If he is really more concerned about his family, why not waive to go to a long shot and if you are eliminated in the first round, he gets back to his family sooner...

I agree , and we held on to Burrows too long. Lets not do it again.

Sedins do make players better but so does McDavid

Very true but Hansens wheels n never quit atitude carries a lot weight.
He fetches a pretty penny from any serious contender or is not moved.
Invaluable at $2.5m n takes a no brainer offer to consider trading him.

Burrows n Hansen r apples n oranges.

Apparently the Hawks have just traded Scuderi to the Kings.

Odd move?
