I could see him going to dallas for a run, then coming back in the summer for a good 3m aav deal. that would be so ideal for the canucks! which is why I would really want one or two of Dallas's AHL defensemen (like oleksiak/honka) there is definitely a deal to be made. But you have to remember.... Dallas and Van HAAATE each other.

I think the same and when you mentioned oleksiak could see him and a 2nd, Dallas almost has too many dmen that are like in 5-8 range so they could make one of the younger guys available. Oleksiak i think would be similar to pedan and they are both leftys is the only negative and both must clear waivers next season.

He fetches a pretty penny from any serious contender or is not moved.
Invaluable at $2.5m n takes a no brainer offer to consider trading him.

How do you replace him? Not many players like him when you consider the work ethic and intangibles.

He has a young family. I don't see how anyone can make a decision over night as to leaving their kids/wife for 4 months.
