I know how you feel on it and I agree with you. Its 99% of the fanbase who is calling for Hamhuis's head if he decides to want to stay. Imagine that, a top 4 D man who LOVES playing for our team and if he decides to want to stay, he is now a villain.

I am pretty sure someone stated above that Hansen for Vatanen would be fair.

Vatanen has 31 points in 62 games as D man.

Hansen has 32 points in 59 games on the top line with the Sedins.

I don't see the fair trade there at all.

Just a cursory look and you can find many reports on Vatanens deficiency on the defensive side of the puck ie one-dimensional.

At no point did I say that its a fair trade but I get the sense that you are grossly overvaluing Vatanen and undervaluing Hansen.....
