Prob is that we don't need both Vat and Lars. I'm not saying I wouldn't want Vat or Lars, I would. I am just saying that with Benning making that trade already, I doubt he makes one for another small offensive defenseman.

Why would ANA get rid of a former first round pick for hamhuis (rental) when Fowler is more than capable.

Or why would they dump a valuable D right before playoffs? That makes zero sense.
For that reason Vatanen doesnt move till the draft, there's no benefit to do that trade in any way.

If youre a playoff team you move picks, prospects who wont see PO ice time or roster dead weight for your rentals, NOT a valuable offensive D man.

The biggest difference is that SOMETIMES they talk to someone who gives them solid info, but most of the time the just make stuff up.

What I find funny is when a transaction happens, guy turned out to have whatever issue(s), one minute they are freaking out and the next, they are all like, yeah, we knew about that...

I hate the speculation from media, pushing whatever narrative or feel good story, that is less researched than what we see on here. For example, (sorry, I have said this before), Pat Quinn as a special advisor to Linden, sounds great, 1040 pushing it, next thing you hear is how sick Quinn is and then shortly thereafter he passes away...

News readers, not news makers... I have more respect for Tomlinson and guys of that ilk.

Hutton will not be exempt next season. ELC doesn't matter if you've played more than 70 games this year.

Maybe so but Larsen n Vatanen prolly not in the lineup together often.
Projecting Pedan in a big physical presence added.
I see Biega n Larsen rotating in n out for match up reasons.
If Larsen pans out n turns into something nice that ls more riches.
A lil optmistic😜but it has its upsides for depth.

Once again just musings n not likely to happen.

Still there is other unseen posibilities eg LA or Dallas idk TB even
