To be honest with you, I am not in love with ANY players from Ottawa.

Because I don't want another Daniel Catenacci or Justin Kea.

A guy who will spend three more (frank)ing years in junior then struggle to make the amerks line up let alone Buffalo's and then maybe someday after being in Rochester for three years play five games in Buffalo. 2nd round and 3rd round there's a huge drop off in talent. I don't feel like waiting six years to see if the return on McGinn pays off. I'd rather get a C level prospect who has two years development over some six year question mark

I'd rather sign McGinn, let him play on the 3rd line and score 15-20G...AND when an injury occurs to a 1st or 2nd line winger, plug him in instead of some 2nd round guy who s still wet behind the ears....let that kid play on the 3rd when called up.
That said, if all McGinn is worth at TDL then perhaps his salary at $3m per is about right as well. I'd do 4 for $12/$13m ... If not...bye.
