He is a new GM that happens to be a brutal public speaker. That doesn't make him stupid. The guy lives and breaths hockey and isn't afraid to do the dirty work to find a diamond in the rough. Ie scouting overseas, attending AHL games etc. I think we are lucky to have a humble, hardworking and honest management team. Phucker is a parasite and will only show up when something negative happens.

I think Biega will be on the Comets. Love his heart but I think we will have a good Dcore next year with Hamhuis coming back on the cheap

Fixed.
Pity that the leafs will pick him up and not let him play for half the season.

The 2 guys who would drop out of the top 10 would be Zacha, Meier. So that leaves 2 spots.

Kyle Connor is the best player in College hockey by far.

Rantanan is probably better than Nylander.

Barzel is better than Boeser.

I try not to be critical of Benning. He is building a team that I really like and has potential. So far he is as advertised . I honestly believe he is one of the hardest working GMs .

Dummies like Phucker rip him , and come back every time something looks bad .He has come back twice this year to laugh. He was in here laughing at the Grandlund trade but we never seen him after the first game Granlund played and he was +3 .

On the surface JB looks like a dummy but this is the first time in years that I like the look of our team.

Lots of growing to do but Benning is building a winner.

He deserves the rope to do what he will with. I haven't loved every move he has made, I haven't actually liked many of them at first blush, but most have either proven me wrong or the results remain to be seen. I'm certainly not going to crucify a guy for not following the same path as the Oilers and now Toronto.

His fourteen year old girl's vocabulary is a little hard to listen to though. I keep expecting him to recite Only Direction lyrics.

Who makes the team in a matter of who is picking it.
After the way they played, it's fair to say a better team could have been assembled, no?
And it's certainly more common for no underage D men on the team

- Bieksa#3

I agree. On not seeing being passed over on that team as a red flag. He has a tremendous ceiling I think.

So you are saying he would be 11th? I'd take Boeser over Barzel. Snipers like him don't come around very often

He is walking a tight rope, rebuilding on the fly and everyone that rips him it seems thinks he should be selling everything and going full tank.

This is a fickle market and the owner does not want the full on tank and rebuild like Edmonton or Toronto. My guess is he was hired partly because of this plan. Why would the plan be abandoned after 1 season of missing the playoffs? Have to give it a chance.

Can't imagine this market if we went full on tank and bottom of the standings for a handful of years... Toronto just jumped on that bus and sound all supportive of it, give them a couple more seasons and see if they can stay the course.

I was trying to follow CanucksArmy and they are treating JB like Trump. How can you call a trade or any transaction with a young player a full on success or bust when they haven't fully developed or even played a season in the NHL?

He sees things we don't. Don't get me wrong I am not in love with Sbisa's salary but when we got him Canucks Fandom said are you serious. He was the butt end of every joke. This year fans are saying hmmmmm he doesn't look bad. I remember when he was injured fans here were saying yeah but we are missing Sbisa.

He honestly knows a lot more than us.

Subban got in a fight last night and got pts last nigh and tonight. He keeps putting up points . I will take a tough 6'4 tough guy (not goon) . This team is so soft . We need some sandpaper on the back end

And he's smart not to battle fan and media pressure, and keep working the plan. MG wasn't.

If they stay where they are in standings and after lottery I would assume a guy like Sergachev or Bean would be the dman they draft. If they move up up to the big boys they probably take a F. Then D the next few picks.

But

- storm88

I have Chychrun, Juolevi and Sergachev are my top 3 D picks. If Laine is available still... dont take D.
