All I kept reading about was if it was going to be a late 1st or 2nd for Reimer.

And I read something about west coast bias yesterday...

yes, the no-spin zone of hb.

Hillybilly! long time no see (there were rumours you had been abducted by Amyway gypsies who then traded you for a yak and and a mid-round prospect in the Uzbekistani house league) - hope all is well with you and the family

That goes for the rest of you crazy bastids! which I haven't had a chance to discuss the usual inanity/insanity with of late. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the customary and quality *ahem* banter and such. It should be an interesting few days coming up, to say the least

If you are making a cup run, you likely already have your #1... unless injury or something else happens.

They are giving up 2018 picks mostly and lower end prospects that most likely won't end up being much ...they have to be extremely thin now though with giving up the first rounder and dano
- Redmile247

Not exactly. They are thin when it comes to top end talent in the system, but deep in bottom 6 depth. They still have Hartman, McNeil (both former 1st rounders) and guys like Ross (Shaw lite) and Hinostroza and guys coming up through the system like Schmaltz, Motte and Bondra.

Looks like McKenzie is reporting Dallas is the next possibility for Hamhuis

Come on Benning just pull the damn trigger.

Dallas is the last game in town.

I don't why all of a sudden he hates picks though. Makes no sense.

Good to see you.

I was a house leaguer indeed growing up, and my nickname in jr. high was Splint, cause I was getting splinters from riding the pine on the school team. good times.

cheers, and right back at you.

Hamhuis for Jason Richardinson
or
Hamhuis for Esa Lindell

If the can get him to waive.

Man that would be sweet, one can dream. Probably less though

Reimer to the Sharks
- VANTEL

So are the Sharks still satisfied with this Jones guy they picked up last year and Reimer is a temporary measure as 1a? Or is Reimer likely to re-sign with them and become their number 1 next year?

Anaheim, Dallas, San Jose seemed to make the most sense as potential landing spots in the off-season for Miller. Maybe he could be convinced to waive his NTC for one of those destinations and avoid what could be yet another frustrating season. He doesn't have many left. Why waste another one?

Too bad, Miller would have been good insurance in case Jones falters in the playoffs...

It's funny how you can't type his name in hockey buzz without it changing it.

yep, took a few seconds to recognize it as D!ckinson...

Ben Kuzma @benkuzma · 3m .
If Dallas is Hamhuis destination, Stars have big, young D in Oleksiak, 23, and Nemeth, 24, who might be available. #Canucks

"There's a chance it was last game, it could be next game or a long time from now" - Hamhuis, on possibly playing last game in Van

Vancouver Canucks @VanCanucks · 48s .
"We haven't see San Jose at all, then five times very quickly. We can help ourselves a lot if we sweep this series" - Hamhuis #Canucks

he might want to stop talking to media if he plans on not waiving...

Sources say Juri Hudler goes from Calgary to Florida for 2nd and 4th round picks.

Dan Murphy ‏@sportsnetmurph 2m2 minutes ago

Hamhuis confirms that Dallas and the #stars have many attractive qualities and he would consider a move there. #Canucks

keep in mind, every time they get salary gutted, they sell their players, and recoup picks/prospects (like sharp/byfuglien/ladd/saad/oduya) some were FAs i think (oduya?) but the rest Chicago got pretty solid deals on

Replace Bart and Weber with

Peden and Larsen
Tyk to the AHL

Sign the best available UFA defencemen to replace Hamhuis.

Lineup to start season

Edler Tanev
Hamhuis Hutton
Sbisa Larsen
Peden

Hamhuis is the top UFA defencemen this year, unless you feel Yandle is better?

- Pres.cup

Okay these guys might be 3rd pairing, at best, by no means are they NHL ready. Just because they are the best we have in the system, doesnt mean we should trot out both of them. If both Pedan and Larsson are in the top 6 next season, consider our Defense the worst in the nhl.

It's pretty obviousy he's going to stay here, can we move on? Honestly its in black and white, he wants to stay here, and there's no deal to be had in those teams (Dallas ISNT going to trade with us)

I'd be giving them a shot just because they will require waivers to go to Utica.
