Thanks for the update C.

From previous blog...
I like both of those rumored deals Vantel
young Dman from Bos and picking up Polkaroo from Chi...although i suspect Chi is done making big moves and a trade with Dallas is more likely.

To be honest, I'd be completely surprised if they won more than one of these five against SJ.

I personally don't like Vrbata and don't feel we owe him anything. I would move him for any type of pick.

Once the team is mathematically out of Playoffs I would put him in the pressbox and look at players like Gaunce or Grenier.

It is always good to have on your resume Healthy Scratch in your contract year

WD’s statement suggesting the 5 games against SJ is “like a playoff series”. That’s right Willie, once again you will be pushed around by a hungrier and more physical team.

If you were a GM of a playoff bound team would you target vrbata? I know I wouldn't.

With Miller here we need to score 4-5 GPG...not going to happen.

We may take two games somehow but really we are in big trouble vs SJ.

4-1 Sharks

Not at all. Even in this offseason where I could get him cheap I wouldn't take him

How much salary would we have to take back if he's traded for a pick?

You could see him declining after the second half of last year.

We could retain max $2,500,000 so that would seem to make Mr. V untradeable.

He just hasnt played well enough to get traded. Too expensive as a depth guy.

Khokhlachev Providence Bruins scratched? This prospect looks interesting, Benning seems to be high on him.
