I agree. I think the goaltending has been adequate.

Our D blows chunks. We have one of the weakest D in the league. It has the lowest goals. It is probably close to the fewest hits. It is useless in the fighting department.
Changing Bartowski and Weber will do little to resolve the problem. It needs an overhaul.

Our forwards are improving. Still need to get rid of expiring contracts

I think Higgins is invisible in the playoffs. I know him as regular season guy who disappears in the 2nd half of the season. He might be a good AHL playoff guy though...

Higgins played well for us vs the Predators in the 2011 PO's...that's it. Other than that I can't remember a strong playoff from him on any team he was on.

Wow, Kassian looks no smarter on the ice than he did when he first arrived in Van. Just watch him wait till his other 4 players were in deep and set up then do a tape to tape pass to the Islanders turning everything into a skate or die fire drill. Maybe he needs a bump.
