I think what the leafs are doing is what most if not all the fans want ... - Redmile247
Then they are idiots.
Then they are just reacting with no plan.
I am sure 50 years of pain and some of those BAD pain does not help the psyche.

What exactly is the difference between the Black Sox n the Leafs?
Pro teams not playing to win r hardly professional. - Nighthawk
That is BANG ON!
100% Truth.
But the Black Sox actually got paid to throw games.... I suppose the Leafs do to come to think of it. |

WD isn't that good either...don't kid yourself. But he is learning IMO. - LeftCoaster
if hes learning hes not showing it at all. Same results and tendencies over and over.
The rate he's learning at he'll be NHL ready by Horvats retirement party.

The punishment should be a franchise in Markham. |

They have had terrible management and have tried to make the playoffs every year ...now they finally decide to rebuild and this makes the fans who like this idiots ?

But if Vancouver stripped their team down this way, no one would be showing up to watch the product on the ice.
And it would take some pretty strong PR to convince fans to come back next year too. Even Trev might struggle with that challenge. |

Now --- back to the game.... I have never seen or heard of a player being placed on waivers and then back in the line-up.
What the heck was up with that???

2003 for me. Younger bigger guy I knew who was showing off to my friends. After about the 30th request to pull over so he can show everyone that I'm full of poop, I did. In the headlights he missed the only punch he threw, got hit by a 3 punch combo, I stepped back and he went for a dumb dive for my legs an I stepped forward with the knee in the face and he was more or less knocked out. I still held the shoulders of his coat and gave him 3 more knees. After I said to my friend..."why didnt you stop me from giving him more than he needed". He said "it was over in 4 seconds what are you talking about".... I always remember my fights slowed down like a tv replay in my mind...

You've been around long enough to know how fickle this fanbase can be. |

Although, yes, I want Benning to do something... I am much happier him doing nothing than what Toronto has done.
They are down to the baseboards and studs. The NHL should have really stepped in and stopped such a 100% catastrophic teardown. It is not fair to the fans. - Beatle_john

Agree totally.
Now why r fans still in the stands in TO.
R tickets a bargain price?
Drastic price reduction next year?
Only North American pro team that has fans follow in droves when
no reason to do so. An anomoly of serious proportions.
Best team n price in town is the Marlies. |

Wow, you seem to care quite a bit about the Leafs are doing. Why is that?
Just focus on the Canucks, they have their own problems... Big problems. |

Remember vancouver is about 2.7M people for metro, whereas metro TO is around 8M. Almost triple the population. Add hockey mad hamilton, London etc maybe up to 9M. Lots of fans to draw from.
Id also say toronto has gotten used to losing |

I agree BJ is going overboard , but you are telling him to focus on His own team , but can I point out you are the one in another teams forum .
