Trading bad contracts from the old regime is a great place to start. Trading players that aren't a part of the long term plan is next. Acquire picks and prospects by leveraging cap space happens after that. Draft and develop from within.

You know when 3 or 4 teams year after year get all the up and coming stars , it is a little frustrating for the other teams. It would be nice to get a Crosby or Toews out here.

Some teams have tanking to an art. The NHL needs to fix it. They need to make it a balance draw to select the order of the draw. It is ruining the game.
This year our team sucks and you have teams like the Leafs Yotes, Sabres Oilers Flames Hurricanes who put out a crap product. Look at your line up.

If you guys don't win the lottery and get Stamkos you team will be brutal intentionally. That is just wrong

Buffalo Sabres
then their is now a new breed the Leafs.

All other teams that were horrible as i recall made efforts to improve n some way.
