They are pro's for sure, but family men first. I don't think it'd happen, but would be very happy if it did.

I think you hit on a big point.... "insulate their youth". I do not see how that can happen unless they vastly overpay for some middle of the road UFAs as high end talent will want nothing to do with a rebuild.

It's due to the length and breadth and obviousness of the tank. The Leafs used to represent so much more. You guys liked to compare yourselves to the Yankees and Manchester United.... how far you have fallen. How you feel no shame is where our communication breakdown ls. I would not support a team who operates in this way.

Unfortunately the 1st time GM JB made the playoffs his 1st season.
2nd season he wasn't avoiding the playoffs.
