Well, to be fair, the Leafs come up in our threads a shocking amount. I don't think I have recently seen a thread that hasn't mentioned them at least once. It's weird, it never used to be like this.

Even before Babs coached his first game, they said that we were looking at about 3 years before we'd start to see some success. AGAIN, they were transparent with their intentions and plans. What they didn't say was how they were going to do it.

How has Vancouver's "hybrid rebuild" been working for the last few years? This team isn't winning with Sedin's, that ship has sailed. I'm not trolling when I say that as I think a number of Canucks fans would agree.

The sooner Vancouver commits to a proper rebuild, the sooner this team will be a contender again. Until then, this team bound to remain mediocre.

I'm guessing that the you guys want and expect more than just mediocrity, right?

I agree. Although you cant blame the sedins for not winning games. They are 2 players who come to play ever game and still produce. Henrik should not even have been playing around the all star game due to injuries but shows up anyway. Our defense is one of the worst in the league and unfortunately there is nothing in the way of a top 4 dman available July 1 other than hamhuis. We are too top heavy on forward prospects with nothing on defense. Im hoping we can find a 1/2 college ufas with top potential. You have to build from the net out and we havent been doing that. Hopefully benning starts to make deals for long term success because the ones he has been making havent made sense.

Felt like xmas morning. Got up earlier than normal. Only to find no presents under the tree. Just Duthie and a bunch of over-size headed Prime Ministers running amuck in the studio.
