Good problem to have, but, if we sign Stamkos, who moves from C to Wing, Eichel? Imagine if we win the lottery too: Stamkos, O'Reilly, Eichel. Matthews, Reinhart, Girgenson. There would be some flipping of a center or two for a dman.

O'Reilly or Eichel would move to the wing. Reinhart is also a wing and Girgs would be 3rd line. The way I'd do it would be:

Kane-Stamkos-Sam
Eichel-O'Reilly-Pick

But Dan would mix them around. That being said, if that is your top 6 you're a dangerous af team.

Matthew or Lainne would look great on the wing of that 2nd line? Maybe even faeshing, though I'm not sure he'd be ready as of yet. If we somehow sign Stamkos, that obviously solves a lot of forward problems. So much so, that if we're lottery losers per usual and fall to the 5-6 pick area, we could take the best available dman.

Wow - that would make Eichel a 90-100 point player. Think of all the assists he would have this year if the Kane's of the world could bury his passes.
