I'd be freaking out if I was a fan of the Wild and probably Blues. They needed help and their windows are closing.

That is the big deadline move - knowing Pegula will open his pocketbook to rid us of that horrible contract and make the needed move for a top 6 forward or 4 defenseman in the offseason

We went over this about a month ago. Buying out Moulson only hurts us in the long run. If we did it would be after next season, unless they think they can get Eichel and Reihart and Risto for cheap.

That would presumably be for something "big"

I thought that was very unlikely to happen with Ennis' value probably being quite low
