The #LAKings have acquired forward Brett Sutter in a trade with the Minnesota Wild.

He's got a NTC so even if he does he can make it so he doesn't go anywhere. Feel like that was a big thing for him

I was glad Mouslon wanted to return after the trade, but couldn't understand the contract they gave him plus a NTC with it. You would have thought he put 20+ goals for that dough and now we're stuck.

The Conditional 3rd pick that we'd get for McGinn this year is actually Florida's and not Anaheim's. Interesting.

Maybe if we convince him he'll continue to have a spot on the roster if he trimmed his salary he'll consider it. Tell him we need some of his money for potential Stamkos run or to fill out roster. He must realize the decimation of the veterans in the league and the youth movement. As well as seeing first hand what happened to Hodgson and Leino he must understand he can't produce like this at his current salary caps hit. Either that or threaten to buy him out and if he doesn't budge he's gone after next season

What's his contract hit? Can't imagine anyone would pay anything more than a 5th or 6th for him. Didn't he have like the worst +/- last year? Not to mention, he's not getting any better, so I'm not sure why a team would spend anything except a low pick.
