Probably the reason we should have dealt him for anything, but told him there would be a place for him on the roster next year. Even if he tests the waters and comes up short, he could always come back and we could have gotten even a low pick

On paper right now .. you are right .... not many. I think Johnson just wants to go somewhere and compete for a #1 job. Who's to say he CAN'T be a #1 at some point? He's pretty damn good in fact. If we don't have Lehner ...... he's OUR #1 for sure. He can find that somewhere else I think.
