he only played 19 games and they were with that lineup. he was not even shown to be on any other lines.

Don't get me wrong. I like Drouin... but I don't think he is some Monster Beast 2nd coming of Gretzky player.

I bet he never has a 30+ goal season in the NHL. He will be an Ennis type player in this league I bet. A solid 2nd line pairing guy who can pot 20-25 goals with the right players. But can't play defense and is only as good as the players around him.

That is my point.

Absolutely not, but it might be rare that I am a guy that wants to see tangible results from a player before making a move for him.

Yes, it will cost more, but I don't care if it costs more if I am trading for a known quantity.

I am not giving up assets for an unknown with several question marks, at least that would be my policy.

So every rookie that went on to a good or great career scored more than 4 goals in his first year? I'm pretty sure we can find a few players that scored around the same as him their rookie years and had pretty good careers.

He is faster than Ennis.

I would take a 25 goal 55-65 point player in Drouin over Ennis all day every day

Ennis is not a good fix for this team...too much east west not enough north south and is a one man show out there.

Drouin is built the same way but doesn't play as much of a east west game
