Lindholm! - ImThatGuy
Nice to see some passengers aboard the Hampus bandwagon. Was getting kind of lonely.
Hopefully the relationship with the agent isn't broken (Claude Lemieux) |

This might sound crazy, but if the pick is #2-4, I'd rather trade Reinhart for Lindholm.
The forwards have a bigger offensive upside |

Not crazy at all, i like what Reinhart brings between the ears and in his own end though. Known vs unknown is an issue as well. |

multi-dimensional energy winger that plays a pro-style, adaptive game. Well-versed as a guy who can consistently put up points, but also as an agitator who plays with a little bit of bite and nastiness. Skates with excellent balance and speed, outclassing many in his age range. No lack of offensive instincts and knows how to score in many different ways. Confidence in his abilities and playing to the extent of his capabilities strengthens his work ethic and creativity. All-in-all, a unique and effective forward who defines his own limits and seeks to exceed them, along with all on-ice expectations. - See more at: http://www.eliteprospects...3030#sthash.p7367ZAu.dpuf
If he brings that to the NHL then at the very least he'll be better offensively. |

So with the players we have here (or will have)
who fits in better Reinhart of Tkachuk
Eichel, ROR, Kane, Stamkos?
Does Reinhart or Tkachuk fit in better?
Top 6 obviously is what I am thinking
Personally I think having both here would be better and work out a different package for Lindholm
Kane ROR Stamkos
Tkachuk Eichel Reinhart
Speed, skill, scoring, grit on both lines |

Me too but players of that magnitude we'll likely have to outbid someone. Also doesn't help that our 2 tradable pieces (ennis, girgs) stocks have tanked.
If they're signing another scorer (stamkos) id prefer to keep reinhart. Need that balance in the lineup. |

I agree. I have said before his goal total this year is quite lucky, and I think his 2 way play is important, but with O'Reilly/Girgensons already here..... I think you can sacrifice that for a pure goal scorer |

In a scenario where we get stamkos, i would disagree RE: Tkachuk vs Reinhart.
Reinhart would give us that 2 way play in the top 6. Girgensons has shown consistent defensive play, but the offence has evaporated.
Shooting percentage is a little high but look how he scores those goals, i get some are lucky but most are spending time around the net (especially on PP). Besides when this team is any good he'll be doubling assist totals vs goals. |

I still think his skating is an issue. He seems a step behind everyone, and unless it is a play around the net, he's generating almost no offense whatsoever.
I like Reinhart, and think he's a surefire all around good top 6 player, but I think he's a below average 2nd overall pick. I would take either of the two Finn wingers and possibly Tkachuk over him.....possibly |

I guess it would depend on what Anaheim would want. If they prefer the player entering his prime, or the top 4 pick.

Gotta think Reinhart would be more valuable to them given Perry and Getzlafs age. |

I always feel power forwards are overhyped, and traditionally have the biggest chance at being a bust. It seems like the game doesn't translate well for them. I know he is only 6"1 but he fits that mold of bigger winger, who creates energy.
Also, this is more of my own personal belief than anything else, but I do not like 2nd generation players. Not many play as well as their fathers did. I know there are some exceptions, the biggest being the Hull family, but more often than not they are held in higher regard than they should be. I think it has to do with the name. |

So shots per game are going up while goals per is going down, respectively since the start of the year. Is this goalies getting better as the season goes along and they get in the groove (does this happen to most teams where it is easier to score at the start v end of the year)? Is it us taking more outside shots? Our penalty kill is steadily climbing, good...Interesting, a lot can be made of this. Pach, thanks a lot for the stats. |

I would assume, but they have the center position locked down with Kesler, Getz and Rackell.
They have average wingers outside of Perry. |
