He is on board.. yknow stealth tank and all. - ieetbred
It (frank)in makes me sick...we all had to stomach this losing bullpoop for 2 god damn seasons of absolute garbage...and now we get another 20 games of it
progress...thats all i'm asking for..but here we are....regressing...playing like the same poopty team we were last year...cept this year we have Eichel
At least Nolan tried to make something happen out of nothing...
Disco Dan looks like he's packed it in for the season...this team looks like poop...
the only line thats playing half decent is Lioneater's....maybe its because our piece of poop coach stopped trying to make him conform to the "system" - feetontheair22
No way Hull "cheated" thinking he would gain an advantage by intentionally putting a foot where it was.
It is what it is. - rmiethaner
I don't think he intentionally did it, but the fact of the matter is it wasn't a legal goal, they didn't even bother to review it "because Dallas was already celebrating", they made up some bullpoop after the game and then changed the rule after that. Talk about damage control.
This entire team (frank)ing blows. I can't even single out one player because they've all played like poop over the past month or two. - CaptainRivet
Agreed, its been complete regression as the season advanced. Eichel is making more rookie mistakes in the last 20 games than he did in the first 40. ROR disappered before he was injured and the D has become a liability in their own zone.
Risto was a pretty solid D man at the start of the season, now he's always out of position it seems, yet this coaching staff is not trying to fix that issue, but rather encourage it as logically you would think you would stop making such obvious mistakes....unless thats the system your coach runs.

Oh, I agree. And also, the whole media came out on the ice from the Zamboni entrance as well.
On my way out, there was an old guy looking at a tv monitor saying "no goal". It was Muckler. I didn't even realize it was a controversy.
A rule is a rule, but it was not why the Sabres lost that game. Three overtime periods of 5 on 5 hockey.

i mean he wasnt scoring goals but he was getting assists almost every game after the all star break. he was still the best sabre

Secondary assists are the double edged sword of stats. They are great for numbers, but realistically most of them are gifts for stat padding.
I'm not trying to say he's not been playing well, he is still showing grit and flashes of great play, but his secondary assists have made the argument that he's excelling however, watching him try to skate between 4 guys, or passing it when he has a clear shot over and over says otherwise.

I dont agree with your regression assesment if you stretch it over the course of the year and at this point in the season im not worried about it. In fact as soon as i realized this season was not a push for the playoffs i was kind of ready to endure it one more time.
I am not sold on bylsma but our best player is out of the lineup, we just traded mcginn and there are a few other factors im sure im missing. Without the stellar play of lehner it would probably be a tire fire.

Pittsburgh faithfuls made the same excuses for this guy for years, until the embarrassment of the Bruins massacre when they realized, maybe this guys not as good as they thought a got lucky that first year.

This team has zero offense and zero defense. Every game is boring and the players look lost.
