Not going to the games is better than complaining, as least you're sending a message to the right people.

I'll be at the game. I'm going to watch Horvat and Virtanen, not Aqulini

It's a shame that your money is going to FA and not Bo or Jake.

Until Benning says "we're not interested in re-signing Hamhuis" his rights have no value. Although I just read him say they have some appetite to re-sign him.
- LeftCoaster

Interesting, never heard that, this should make our friend in the cable business go on a tangent.

Well I'm buying tickets off a season ticket holder and bringing my own booze. So technically I won't be putting any $ in Aqua's pockets

I hope the Canucks resign Hamhuis. He will be a great stop gap player for a few years. Put an offensive minded young d man with him, and he will learn lots. He's going to want to resign, might as well do it at a discount. 3 or 4 years $12m.

I love bringing my own booze but my metal flasks don't get by the metal detectors.

With the black eye aqualoonie gave the franchise yesterday , I bet it happens this summer. Needs to recoup some money
- Bullfrog77

You have to apply to the league to change your sweater and logo, they can't do it unless they've already made arrangements to do so the previous year.

Appearantly Chicago was planning to give Marko Dano and 1 round pick for Dan Hamhuis but nope, Benning prefers no picks at all and let all the UFA walk free this summer for nothing
- BeatStriker

Benning has said he was never offered a 1st rd pick. He said it was a 2nd and then later became a 3rd.

Seeing rumblings of kings extending Lucic... oh well, back to the drawing board.

I think the opposite is true in a way. Put Hamhuis with some defensive guy and he will learn. We've all seen Bart and Weber trying to "learn" the most important part of their job from guys like Hammer. Sometimes a guy just isn't able to learn, they just don't have a knack for it. Either way, I see it as a positive to have hime for the right price.

We already got his best years, he got his spine flexed and has never been the same player.

Going out on a limb here, but I'm betting Calgary won't re-sign Raymond.

I've guessed all year that they buyout or trade Gabbo this offseason, but I'm not sure either.

We were hoping Chiareli would pick him up to add to the fine collection of players on the Oilers he amassed recently.
