Where was that? My buddy Barry Sloper was tour managing that tour . He also was doing front of house.. Small world!! - Maximum Signal
We did Texas, Nashville and some others I don't remember. We were a baby band with no record out and had no business being there but it was great. Mick in all his makeup asking us for a hook up. Love that guy.
Why it's not something to be ashamed about I just never got the opportunity to watch one of the best goaltenders in Sabres history and obviously youtube doesn't do it justice..
That's why I'm jealous of mostly all the vets on the site they got the experience greatness and memories they won't forget of the great sabres teams I'm just experiencing the making of that now - gerbe75pts
If you're talking about Hasek. Yeah, you missed out. He started right around the time I started watching hockey in big way, at least that I was old enough to stay up and watch the games.
That dude was once-in-a-lifetime maybe even longer. There wasn't a guy like him, and probably with the giants that are playing the position now and the sheer size of the equipment, there won't be again. Guys used to get cocky and think they had an open net, and BAM! Hasek slammed the door shut and a look of bewilderment would come across the faces of the shooters.
I remember watching that live and I and everyone in the room absolutely lost our collective minds.

He was one of the sweetest guys I ever worked for . The other one that was as nice believe it or not was Ronnie James Dio. God rest both their souls . Have worked for lots of nice ones . Those two went above and beyond.
You can't teach the speed Jack has he's perfect for center he sets up plays in an instant and is very very smart he can't be wasted on the wing players with his intelligence you just can't teach that for center position - gerbe75pts
So there's NO smart & fast players that aren't centers?
Come on

I'd always heard Dio was a real nice guy. Shame we lost him too soon. "Rainbow in the Dark" is an awesome song on a great album "Holy Diver". Just one of many.
Yeah, that was the point. It was good, I enjoyed it. It was maybe a little derivative, could've been maybe 15 minutes shorter, but overall it was a good movie. I still think "Blade" is my favorite Marvel movie.
Yes, but I would like Jack to be a goal scoring center.
Reinhart was supposed to be more of a set up guy. - rmiethaner
As long as we've got 3 lines scoring...
I don't really care who ends up being a "sniper" or "set up guy" or whatever other term we feel the need to label guys
If we're scoring & winning,
Idc who's playing wing & who's at center, etc

Haven't watched the Blade movies in years...
I'll have to re-watch them sometime. I do own them all.
Most Marvel movies are good though.
Not sure i have a fav.
The latest Batman trilogy was pretty epic IMO
At least the 1st two were

Robin Lehner could score 50 goals and Jack could score none and I wouldn't care. As long as they score more than the other team approximately 60% of the time I couldn't care less who does it and how.
Pretty simple really, one had value and one didn't... - Wetbandit1
Agree
Plus, Foligno is gonna get one more 2 year contract from us to see if he can become the player he's shown flashes of becoming.
Or maybe he's traded for someone like Kreider?
Certainly have to add a pick to make that happen, but we've got plenty of them to use as ammo

Kreider has been a massive disappointment this year. And that's worrying for a young guy. Especially on the same team and system.
Edit: He's staring at career lows in goals, +-, and shooting %.

We're on the right track
I don't understand why ppl are freaking out
We had down years from Girgensons, Ennis & a few others...
And we're still GREATLY improved from last year
These guys are still learning how to play in the NHL, and together, and under a new Coach/system...
If we don't make a leap towards the playoffs next year,
Then it's time to worry
Not that I wanna wait...
But expecting playoffs this year was foolish
