In year two of those contracts everyone wants to trade them . Signing Hamhuis and his low point production and slowing game is the exact same thing. 3 years 4 mil is a joke. You will get more hits and points from Pedan

people are being too hard on JB. He really restructured the team drastically in his time here....people were behind him till monday and now say he cant do poop. Only because he couldnt unload the garbage no one wants? The single asset he has to work with has a NTC, only waived for 2 teams, meanwhile tells the whole world he's resigning in vancouver PLUS has an owner that mettles and throws a wrench into the cogs. Yet somehow its all JBs fault.

Given the circimstances I think people should give it a rest

Happens when fickle fans come out in force.
2yrs on the job with LA n Anaheim to compete wih n ppl expect miracles when so many aging vets n NTC's to manage. JB can only shuffle the roster up so much n if the vets underperform he is limited. Cannot judge him til next season n prolly we will see more ups n downs yet. Next year its 50/50 on making the playoffs in a weak Pacific division. All yhe teams will get better but knocking off both LA n the Ducks won't be easy with the leg up they have. What fans should be looking for is progress down the stretch this season n set expectations for next year.
